Bumping for great justice.

Though I'm wary of the "Anonymous" "Movement" (especially since it started immediately after a bunch of Diggers jumped ship to 4chan), I've always hoped that they would attempt a culture jamming campaign aimed at Apple. They're the business equivalent of Scientology, complete with secret operations and product development, abuse of the judicial system for censorship purposes, batshit endorsements from dubious sources, and the like.

Then again, Digg was composed almost entirely of Macfags, so I know that this will never happen. Oh well. At least DoubleTwist is consistently good at trolling the shit out of Apple IRL.

just want to save this quote i found in one of the comments of this page:

http://appadvice.com/appnn/2011/06/apples-scroll-patent-good-but-not-a-game-changer

i think the poster made a good point. here goes:

I think it's kind of disturbing that a company can patent what is basically the human nature of object interaction. Seriously, how else is a human being suposed to interact with a frame inside of another frame on a multitouch display without effecting the outside frame? Every company in the world can think up that idea on their own without stealing from Apple, because it's just natural and makes sense. Really what's next, are other companies going to be forced to create non-natural interfaces (6 finger alien swipes) just because Apple did it the natural way first? And this coming from a huge Appple fan too, I just don't see how it's right to put a patent on human interaction.

its especially funny since samsung actually manufacture the case that apple uses for iphone

still, annoys me that apple got away with this. people should get what they want, if a certain design is more desired a company should be able to make it. just because apple has made something slim other companies cant?

even if these products are similar in their design its not exactly the same. samsung is just borrowing whats popular. looks like they have been inspired from apple but only a blind man would say that they have copied the design straight of because there are obviously not the same.

this is how man should work. stand on the shoulder's of giants. i mean, firefox has stolen a shitload of stuff (both features and design) from other browsers.

is mozilla somehow doing something less wrong than samsung? isn't it best for humanity if humans are able to get what is desired?
